FAQ's

Do I need to own a horse?

No, you don’t need to own your own horse. For riding lessons and experiences, Will has horses available for you to ride that are accustomed to all types of riders.

Do I need to bring my own equipment? What should I wear?

No, you don’t need to bring any of your own equipment. Will provides all helmets and riding equipment, he just asks that you wear long pants and closed-toe shoes for safety reasons.

What payment methods do you accept?

Will accepts cash, card and bank transfer payments. If you wish to pay on the day of your booking, a cash payment is easier, as card or bank transfers must be made in advance.

How much horse experience do I need?

None! Will caters to clients of all riding abilities, from absolute beginners to advanced riders. At or prior to your first session, he will assess your level and design an experience perfectly suited to your individual ability.

Where are you located?

All riding lessons take place on a beautiful tree-lined property in Currumbin Valley, Queensland. There is a small outdoor arena in the paddock, and lessons take place here just outside the stables and farmhouse.

Beach and trail riding locations can vary depending on the client’s wishes and riding level. For trail rides, these depart from the property in Currumbin Valley. For beach rides, these usually take place at Fingal Beach in northern New South Wales. Will will provide specific directions and meeting point information upon enquiry.

Can you come to me?

Yes, Will travels to clients. If you have a horse that you would like assistance in starting or training, Will can come to your property to work with the horse. Depending on the distance and travel time required, a call out fee may be applied. Please contact Will directly for more information about this service.
