I was recommended Will by my farrier, and after doing my research I decided to use Will to help bring my big boy back into work after a few months off. Reggie is a very nervous and forward horse with a history of being mistreated and I lost my confidence on him. Will was fantastic, teaching both Reggie and I how to work together to both be confident with each other. I now have my horse back and we both enjoy rides out together again.
Will is a master horseman and a Gentleman. After the devastating news that my beautiful mare had to be retired due to DJD (Degenerative Joint Disease) and much soul searching, I was able to purchase a very special young horse. I knew that I would need some support in order to continue her education in the best way possible, and finding the right person to do this was extremely important to me. I am not in favour of ‘gurus’ and to be honest, most people in the horse world leave me cold. I was at a loss as to who to call.During a conversation with my farrier, Will was recommended to me and I am glad I took the chance to contact him. Within minutes of meeting Will and watching him work with my mare, I knew that I had made the right decision. Will has a gift! His quiet, considerate and humble approach to working with horses is gold.Over a period of some months, it gave me great joy and peace of mind watching my mare’s progression under Will’s gentle and thoughtful guidance. His genuine love of horses is obvious and they seek his company as a result. Possibly from his experience working with in teams, or simply from his good nature, Will knows how to work together with people and horses for the mutual benefit of all involved.I highly recommend Will if you want to make an investment in your horse’s progression. No tricks, no gimmicks. Just good solid horsemanship. Will is the real deal!
I booked a lesson/experience for my wife Lynda and I found the booking process fantastic. William made everything really easy and I also think it’s great that he personally makes the booking not someone else. It made it really personable.Lynda said the level was tailored to her skill level but still challenging at the same time. She really liked that, also she said she really enjoyed herself and that the way William taught/instructed made everything easy to pick up. She said getting out into nature and recognising a different way to unwind and destress was a great experience and something a little different, definitely something she wants to do again!
